2.0 The Process

Most people want to know what the work actually looks like before they commit.

Here’s the full process I use, broken into eight clear steps. Each step builds on the one before it. The goal is simple: take a business from unclear or underperforming online visibility to a complete, working local system — and then keep it performing.

This page is the overview. Each step also has its own deeper breakdown.

2.1 Initial Consultation & Joint Audit

We look at everything together. I review the current website, Google rankings, Google Business Profile, technical setup, and overall online presence while learning how the business actually operates. This is a collaborative walkthrough, not a one-sided presentation.

2.2 Recommendation List

After the audit I deliver a clear, prioritized list of what needs to be done. The website almost always comes first. I also set expectations early around content and ongoing involvement so there are no surprises later.

2.3 Homepage as the Foundation

The homepage is treated as the most important page on the site. It is built to rank, convert, and send strong signals to Google. Structure, keywords, calls to action, schema, and clarity all start here.

2.4 Full Site Structure with Depth

From the homepage we build outward. Core pages are created with real substance — no thin content. This includes About, Contact, service or product pages, and (when appropriate) a blog.

2.5 Build, Feedback, Launch & Tracking

The site is built, reviewed with the client, refined, and launched. Technical tracking is set up (Search Console, Analytics, conversion goals), and the Google Business Profile is aligned with the new site.

2.6 Citations & Consistency Layer

Name, address, phone number, and core business information are cleaned up and made consistent across relevant directories and platforms. This reduces conflicting signals and strengthens local relevance.

2.7 Reviews & Branding Systems

Simple systems are put in place to generate reviews (especially on Google), including practical tools like QR codes and follow-up processes. Basic branding consistency and response guidance are also covered.

2.8 Ongoing Partnership

Once the foundation is built, the work shifts to monitoring, updates, content support, and continuous improvement. This is where long-term performance is protected and where retainers live.

The Point of the Process

Every step exists for a reason. Skipping the early diagnostic work leads to weak recommendations. Rushing the homepage or site structure creates problems later. Ignoring citations, reviews, or ongoing maintenance lets the system slowly decay.

The process is designed to be thorough without being complicated for the business owner. Most of the technical and strategic weight sits on my side. The owner’s main job is to provide real information, feedback, and occasional content so the system stays accurate and alive.

1.0 WHAT I DO

Website + Google Business Profile + citations + reviews + content systems.

One connected foundation instead of a pile of disconnected tools.

I reverse-engineer everything from what real customers are actually searching for.

2.0 THE PROCESS

From joint audit, measuring NAP and EEAT, to ongoing partnership.

I use eight clear steps to take a business from invisible to consistently found, and keep it that way.

My goal is organic and consistant LOCAL web traffic, NOT paid ads.

3.0 WHY THE NAME

People search for a web designer. What they need is a local SEO Sherpa.

What did you Google to get here?

I make the site and Google presence work together so the right people can actually find the business.

4.0 SELECTED WORK

Real local businesses. Real results.

Plumbing, therapy practices, aerial services, scalp micropigmentation, and more.

See what happens when the foundation is built correctly.
